Antique Swedish Hand-Painted Cabinet

244, Dimensions = 41”L x 19.25”D x 39”H,

A beautiful Swedish hand-painted cabinet with warm reddish-brown tones, dark trim, and a richly decorated floral door panel. Cream brushwork, stylized flowers, and scrolling foliage give the piece a distinctive folk art character, complemented by angled front corners, rounded feet, and a decorative painted border beneath the top.
The door bears painted initials and the date 1935—a lovely personal detail, though the inscription alone does not confirm when the cabinet was made. A key with a tassel opens the door, revealing one interior shelf and two generous storage compartments.
This is a piece deserving of a special place and purpose: a cupboard for treasured table linens, favorite serving pieces, or keepsakes. Its earthy palette would also blend beautifully into a mid-century interior, bringing hand-painted detail alongside clean lines and warm wood furniture.
Visible wear to the top, edges, and painted surfaces adds to its timeworn character. Please review the photographs for a closer look.
